Civil Air Patrol

We are volunteers who believe in service to our community. CAP's Core Values are: Integrity, Respect, Excellence, and Volunteer Service. We come from all walks of life. No military or aviation experience required.

The Civil Air Patrol serves as the official auxiliary of the Air Force. CAP carries out three missions: developing young leaders, helping our communities in time of crisis, and educating the public and our members about aerospace. We do this by operating a corps of cadets at our local squadron. These cadets learn about leadership, followership, and adherence to our Core Values. We conduct educational sessions at local schools about aerospace. We conduct search and rescue using aircrews and ground search teams, as well as disaster response.
