Cia Siab, Inc., will hold a rice pantry event on Friday, September 8th, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. During this event, we will give out a 50 pounds of Martin Jasmine Rice and fresh food sourced from the Hunger Task Force to families within the local community. To ensure the successful execution of this event, we are currently seeking volunteers who can assist us in maintaining its seamless operation.
Set-up starts at 9:00 am, and clean up/pack up by 2:00 pm.
Volunteer responsibilities:
- Set up
- Language support
- Rice loaders - load rice and food onto vehicles.
- Food Packing - bagging produce into boxes and bags
- Clean up - pack up
