Thank you for your interest in serving with us on Saturday, February 13th!
Please click on a Need and respond to that Need to sign-up for your project/location! One of our Service Saturday team members will reach out via email by the end of the day on Thursday, February 11th with confirmation and project-specific details and updates.
Timeline of Day:
8a-8:30a = Registration, Assigned Classrooms (shared in email confirmation)
8:30am = Welcome/Kick Off, Assigned Classrooms
9a-12pm = Service at various projects/locations
12pm-1p = Lunch and reflection, Varies by Project (eat/drink in common spaces)
Registration closes at the end of the day on Wednesday, February 10th! All participants with a Viterbo email should register individually to reserve their space.
COVID19 Adjustments:
- Participation will be limited to Viterbo students and employees who have been following our strict COVID19 guidelines. Until further notice, outside family, friends, or guests will not be participating.
- We will be prioritizing projects that are within walking distance or do not require carpooling/contained travel for long distances.
- Projects that do require travel will be on a school bus with 15-20 people total and only 1-2 projects, well below 50% capacity of the 45+ that would normally ride a school bus to multiple project dropoffs.
- All participants are required to wear their mask for the duration of the morning and anytime 6 ft distance cannot be guaranteed, even on outdoor projects.
- All participants are encouraged to bring a sling bag with hand sanitizer, a full water bottle, a snack, and/or any other personal needs relevant to their project (work gloves, sunscreen, backup mask, bug spray, etc).
- We will not be meeting as a large group at any point. The registration/welcome will happen in assigned classrooms by project and lunch/reflection will also happen within small groups.
- Participants are encouraged to prioritize health and safety. If you wake up with a temperature or any symptoms, please stay home and email your Site Leader to inform them of your absence.

Don't forget to...
- Save the Service Saturday date and project in your calendar/planner.
- Review the project you signed up for and plan attire appropriately (Ex: if you are outdoors working with physical labor, please wear boots, long pants, gloves, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty).
- Return to UGetConnected after serving to enter your 3 hours of service! Located in the "track hours" screen.
- Get to know your agency/project before serving!
- Become a fan of your agency on UGetConnected to receive automatic emails every time they post a Need in the future.
