Join a group of up to 30 Viterbo folks as we help the WAFER Food Pantry with their monthly Food Fair distribution event. This event typically sees anywhere between 300-500 families coming through to make ends meet.
We will start the morning with a brief introduction from WAFER staff before we assist the full-time/experienced WAFER folks set up the Food Fair items. We will help in various roles throughout the morning, but our primary roles will be 1) Help guests transport their food from the line to their mode of transportation, and 2) distributing food to guests based on family need.
We should be focusing on proactive hospitality and genuine interactions between everyone present. Pending time and details, we may be able to help WAFER staff with other projects determined that day.
