For this location, a group of approximately 30 Viterbo folks will visit the St. Rose Convent to serve alongside the founders of Viterbo University. We will be working on 6-8 various craft projects, from Project Linus blanket knitting to creating super hero capes for children in staying in hospitals, while getting the privilege to engage with and learn from Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. While we certainly want to produce quality projects to donate, we hope participants also focus on interacting with and engaging the Sisters throughout the day.
*Those serving at this location will remain on-site to eat lunch in the St. Rose Convent with the Sisters. Please communicate any dietary concerns as you respond to this Need*
One of our Service Saturday team members will reach out by the end of the day on Wednesday, January 23rd with more site-specific details.
Timeline:
8a-8:30a = Registration, Reinhart Center Room 127.
8:30am = Welcome/Kick Off
9a-12pm = Service at various projects/locations
12pm-1p = Lunch* and reflection, Reinhart Center Boardroom
*Those serving with the Sisters will remain on-site to eat lunch at the St. Rose Convent. All other service projects will return to Reinhart Center Boardroom*
