Join us on Friday, November 3rd, 2023, at the Hmoob Cultural and Community Agency for a heartwarming cause. Cia Siab is hosting its Rice Pantry Event from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., where we'll distribute 50 pounds of Martin Jasmine Rice and fresh, nutritious food from the Hunger Task Force to local needy families. To make this event a resounding success and bring hope to our community, we're calling for dedicated volunteers to help with set up/clean up, language support, bagging food, loading rice into people's cars, and ensuring everyone gets food. Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of those we aim to assist.
We will start setting up at 9:00 am and clean/pack up by 2:00 pm.
Volunteer responsibilities:
- Set up
- Language support - Hmong interpreter
- Rice loaders - we will be providing wagons to transport food and rice to vehicles.
- Food Packing - bagging produce
- Clean up
