Help us create a smooth and welcoming experience for guests at our 5th Annual Galentine's Day Brunch by volunteering at the check-in and check-out station. This role is perfect for detail-oriented, tech-savvy volunteers who enjoy providing great customer service.

What You'll Do:

Greet guests as they arrive and check them in using our event system.Encourage guests to add credit card to their account for easy bidding and quick check-out.Answer basic event or registration questions.Assist with closing out accounts, ensuring all bills are paid before guests leave.Provide technical assistance during event to bidders who may need help setting, up, accessing, or using their online bidding accounts.Provide a friendly and professional presence throughout the process.

Volunteer Requirements:

Must be comfortable using technology.Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

By helping with guest check-in and check-out, you'll ensure attendees have a seamless, enjoyable experience - making them more likely to support the event's mission of raising funds for survivors of domestic violence.

Join New Horizons in raising awareness during Domestic Violence Awareness Month by helping us decorate Main Street with purple ribbons - a symbol of hope, support, and solidarity for survivors.

What You'll Do:

Meet at our Outreach Office at 9am (Located on Main Street just off of West Ave). Work with fellow volunteers to tie purple awareness ribbons around the trees along Main Street.Continue down Main Street to Losey Blvd, ensuring each tree is decorated.

Why it Matters:

These ribbons are a visible reminder to our community that domestic violence impacts us all -  and that, together, we can take a stand for safety and healing.

Join us for a morning of fun, friendship, and fundraising - and help make a difference in the lives of survivors. 

We are currently seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to volunteer with our Trempealeau County Outreach Program. Volunteers play a vital role in helping us connect with the community, raise awareness, and build strong partnerships that expand our reach and impact.

 

Some of the ways volunteers can support our work include:

·         Assisting with informational tabling events

·         Helping us network with local businesses

·         Facilitating or attending community meetings to foster partnerships and promote our mission

 

Whether someone has a few hours a month or is looking for a more active role, we welcome all levels of involvement. Volunteers will receive training and ongoing support for our outreach team to ensure they feel prepared and confident in their roles.
