Friends of Wildcat Mountain State Park

The Friends of Wildcat Mountain State Park is a volunteer organization (501c3) dedicated to helping maintain, improve, and promote Wildcat Mountain State Park. We help the Wisconsin DNR support, assist and promote interpretive, scientific, historical, educational, recreational and related visitor services at the park.

Volunteers can help the park from remote locations with planning, promotion, research and computer opportunities. Or they can help in the park itself with a variety of tasks, These tasks may include environmental projects such as planting, habitat improvement and invasive species control. Assistance with facilities improvements are also needed including clean up projects, trail building and maintenance, improvements to facilities (buildings, benches, picnic tables). Volunteer help is also needed with programming including naturalist, kids activities and events.
